Larry & Tammy Allred

Larry and Tammy Allred were approved as BBFI missionaries to the Yucatan peninsula of Mexico in September 2004. The Allreds served six years as independent Baptist missionaries in Mexico prior to their approval in 2004.

Larry graduated in 1996 from Louisiana Baptist University, Shreveport, LA. Tammy completed the two-year missions program at Decatur Baptist Bible Institute, Decatur, AL, in 1992. Larry was ordained in October 1996.

Jared & Haley Paiz

Jared and Haley Paiz were approved as missionaries to Costa Rica in May 2023. Both Jared and Haley graduated in 2019 with degrees in Intercultural Studies from Baptist Bible College in Springfield, MO. They completed their internship at their sending church, Temple Baptist Church in Springdale, AR.

Joshua and Amanda Allred were approved as missionaries to Mexico in May 2011. Joshua graduated in 2009 from the Biblical Studies course at Trinity Baptist College in Jacksonville, FL. Amanda graduated in 2011 from the Missions course of Louisiana Baptist University in Shreveport, LA. They served their internship at their sending church, Broadway Baptist Church in Sweetwater, TX where Joshua was ordained on February 17, 2011.

Brynn Gotcher

Brynn Gotcher was approved as a missionary to the Philippines in May 2023. Brynn graduated in 2021 with a degree in Intercultural Studies from Baptist Bible College in Springfield, MO. She completed her internship at her sending church, Hope Community Church in Midland, TX.

Brynn is the daughter of veteran missionaries, Lance and Melanie Gotcher.

Missionaries to Costa Rica

Chad & Jennifer Braymer

Chad and Jennifer Braymer were approved as missionaries to Costa Rica in May 2019. In September 2015, they began their internship as TEAM missionaries in Costa Rica under the leadership of Randy and Sherry Rhoton. Their sending church is Stillwell Bible Baptist Church in Clarksville, AR.

Tyler Carleton

Tyler Carleton was approved as a missionary to Nicaragua in July 2020. He served his internship at his sending church, Park Crest Baptist Church in Springfield, MO.

David & Tonya Liles

David and Tonya Liles were approved as missionaries to Peru in September 1994. David (1987) and Tonya (1991) graduated from the missions course at Baptist Bible College, Springfield, MO. They served their internship at South Knollwood Baptist Church in Topeka, KS where David was ordained.

Tonya is the daughter of Oliver and Gloria Williams, veteran missionaries to Peru.

In 2009 I was a sophomore at Baptist Bible College, Springfield, MO when Ed Stetzer delivered a message and call to church planting in what I thought was going to be a normal chapel service. It was through the presentation of God’s Word and the moving of the Holy Spirit that drew my heart to acknowledge that one day, this would be what God would have me do.

    Since that day I have been following the leading of the Lord in serving Him faithfully through the local church. Specifically, I have served at Park Crest Baptist Church, Springfield, MO since 2007 and have served on staff since 2012. 

​

    It was in March of 2021 when God began to move in me that it was time to begin the journey of fulfilling the call I received back in 2009. Since then I have gone through a church planting assessment, established Nashville, TN as the city to which God has called me, received ongoing church planting coaching, and continued to serve at my home church, Park Crest Baptist Church, which has agreed to be my sending church.​

Brian & Rachel Weed

Brian and Rachael Weed were approved as missionaries to Nicaragua in May 1999. In September 2019, the Weeds changed their field to BBFI/Trailhead.

Brian and Rachael both graduated in 1997 graduates from the missions course at Baptist Bible College, Springfield, MO. They served their internship at Trinity Baptist Church in Lufkin, TX.

Eric and Amanda Shadle were approved as missionaries to Ethiopia in September 2006. They both graduated in 2001 from the missions course at Baptist Bible College, Springfield, MO. They served their internship at First Coast Baptist Church, Jacksonville, FL where Eric was ordained in June 2006.

Missionary to the Philippines

Bethany Dick

Bethany Dick was approved as a missionary to the Philippines in May 2021. She completed her internship as a TEAM missionary under the direction of Lance and Melanie Gotcher. Her sending church is Fairfield West Baptist Church in Fairfield, OH.

Missionaries to Honduras

Eric & Ashley Woodworth 

Eric and Ashley Woodworth were approved as missionaries to Honduras in July 2020 where they serve in Tegucigalpa. Prior to approval, they served as TEAM missionaries to Honduras. They served on staff for seven years as Associate Pastor at their sending church, Lighthouse Baptist Church in Xenia, OH.

Missionaries to Peru

Elmo & Kat Compton

Elmo and Kat Compton were initially approved as TEAM missionaries to Peru in September 2011 and then approved as career missionaries to Peru in September 2015. The Comptons changed their field from Peru to Mexico in May 2022 and now serve in Tijuana, Mexico.

Both are graduates of Louisiana Baptist University with degrees in missions. Elmo also holds a bachelor’s degree in interdisciplinary studies from Liberty University, an MBA from Western Governors University, and an MDiv in Global Studies from Liberty University. He is currently pursuing his Ph.D. in Organizational Leadership from Columbia International University. 

The Comptons served their internship at First Baptist Church in Caldwell, NJ under the direction of their sending pastor, David Bulka.

Fabio & Debra Compton

Fabio and Debra Oliveira were approved as missionaries to Brazil in May 2019. Fabio and Debra graduated from Word of Life Seminary in São Paulo, Brazil, with a Bachelor's and Christian education degree, In 2015, Fabio graduated with a Masters in Church Ministry from Baptist Bible College in Springfield, MO. They served their internship at their sending church, Victory Baptist Church in Nixa, MO. 

Debra is the daughter of David and Edna Howell, missionaries to Brazil.

Kevin & Emelie falde

Kevin and Emelie Falde were approved as missionaries to Haiti in May 2018. They were approved on their ministry experience in place of an internship. Their sending church is Carolina Baptist Church in Clover, SC.

Chris and Sonya Goodman

Chris and Sonya Goodman were approved as missionaries to Australia in May 2005. Chris graduated in 1985 with a Missions degree from Baptist Bible College, Springfield, MO. Sonya attended BBC. Chris was ordained in November 1997.

Missionaries to Thailand

Adam & Ayla Cottrell

We are Adam, Ayla, Jaxton and Rowan Cottrell, missionaries sent out of Cherry Street Baptist Church in Springfield, MO to Thailand. In May of 2017, we were approved as missionaries with the Baptist Bible Fellowship International. Located in southeast Asia, Thailand is an open door for the gospel. Our goal is to reach the Thai people through evangelism, discipleship, and working with nationals to plant indigenous churches. God is on the move in Thailand and we are excited to serve Him there!

Tom and Gail Gritts were approved as missionaries to England in May 1981. Tom graduated in 1980 from the missions course at Baptist Bible College, Springfield, MO. Gail graduated in 1981 from the missions course at BBC. They served their internship at Temple Baptist Church in Marshfield, MO where Tom was ordained in 1981.

TJ and Kimberly Gritts were approved as missionaries to Spain in May 2015. They served their internship as TEAM missionaries in Wolverhampton, UK where they worked with Tom and Gail Gritts. TJ and Kimberly both graduated with degrees in Missions from Baptist Bible College, Springfield, MO. Their sending church is Seminole Baptist Temple, Springfield, MO.

Joseph and Darcy Flory were approved as missionaries to Russia in May 2012. Due to civil unrest in Russia, the Florys transitioned to serve in Estonia in May 2023. Joseph (2009) and Darcy (2010) both graduated with degrees in Intercultural Studies from Baptist Bible College in Springfield, MO. They served their internship at Trinity Baptist Church in Lufkin, TX where Joseph was ordained. Their sending church is Indianapolis Baptist Temple in Indianapolis, IN.

Gerardo & Cesia Gaona

After five years of preparation in ministry and after graduation, G from Law School and Cesia as an Industrial Engineer they left their families, their home church, quit their jobs and moved to another state in Mexico where, by the grace of God they planted two churches in a period of ten years. Both churches are still healthy and vibrant teaching and preaching the gospel.

G and Cesia Gaona have heart for foreign missions. After much prayer they joined the staff of Friendship Baptist Church, Owasso, Oklahoma to finish their preparation in ministry. In the future they will be sent to Spain to fulfill the calling of God for their lives.
